
Next ScripTeast project goes worldwide.
Romanian “Japanese Dog” was picked up by a world sales company M-appeal. The “Japanese Dog” script, written by Ioan Antoci, prized with the Krzysztof Kieślowski Award during ScripTeast 2009, was picked up by M-appeal, a Berlin-based world sales company.
“Japanese Dog” is Tudor Cristian Jurgiu directing debut. This is a story of an elderly widowed man, who is visited by his émigré son, depicting the distance between the two generations. The dog of the title is a gift the son brings for his father. The film was presented at the Agora works in progress at the Thessaloniki IFF and will be presented at the Cannes market .
