      THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS AUGUST 31ST. THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE.

      Applicants must be nationals or residents of countries participating in the MEDIA Programme. However, ScripTeast has been developed to focus on scriptwriters originating from Central and Eastern European countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

      Independent Film Foundation was established in 1999 for the development of artistic and professional filmmakers and to promote creativity and the production of films of high artistic value.
      Since its inception the Foundation has organized the Polish Film Awards Eagles. This initiative of the Foundation in 2003 was appointed Polish Film Academy, whose members are all active Polish filmmakers, granting the Eagles a two-step voting.

ScripTeast is a project based training program, designed specifically for scriptwriters from Eastern and Central Europe. Independent Film Foundation is organizing ScripTeast because there is huge undeveloped potential in scriptwriting in this part of the world. There are lots of talented scriptwriters here, but their films are not seen outside their countries. ScripTeast is meant to help them overcome barriers they encounter. Read more >>>
