      THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS AUGUST 31ST. THERE IS NO APPLICATION FEE.

      Applicants must be nationals or residents of countries participating in the MEDIA Programme. However, ScripTeast has been developed to focus on scriptwriters originating from Central and Eastern European countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

      Independent Film Foundation was established in 1999 for the development of artistic and professional filmmakers and to promote creativity and the production of films of high artistic value.
      Since its inception the Foundation has organized the Polish Film Awards Eagles. This initiative of the Foundation in 2003 was appointed Polish Film Academy, whose members are all active Polish filmmakers, granting the Eagles a two-step voting.

# “Woman on the roof” by Anna Jadowska at 2022 TRIBECA Film Festival!

WOMAN ON THE ROOF, directed by Anna Jadowska, will premiere in the International Narrative Competition of TRIBECA Film Festival in June 2022. Anna Jadowska is the Alumnus of IX ScripTeast edition, awarded with the Special Mention for “Wild roses”.

ScripTeast is a project based training program, designed specifically for scriptwriters from Eastern and Central Europe. Independent Film Foundation is organizing ScripTeast because there is huge undeveloped potential in scriptwriting in this part of the world.
