    Venice

    A construction company has been unable to finish the residential complex “Venice” for already 7 years. Costumers every attempt to find the way out and complete the construction themselves ends with failure. The strange tragic-comic gatherings of the residents resemble the construction of the Tower of Babel, where everyone speaks a different language and people are unable to agree upon same idea, they are able united only to face the image of a common enemy.

    Rusudan Chkonia

    In 2008 Rusudan Chkonia has founded an independent film/TV production company Nikê studio.

    Written, directed and produced by Rusudans’ feature debut KEEP SMILLING was screened at many film festivals around the world and received numerous awards. Including Cannes Cinema Grand Prix. The film was the Georgian submission for the Academy Awards in 2012

    In 2007 she was invited to participate in the Résidence du Festival to be a resident at Cinéfondation, programme of Cannes Film Festival. She was also participating twice at Berlinale Talent Campus.

    In 2003 – won prize for Best Director at Berlin Film Festival for her documentary CHILDREN WITHOUT A NAME.
