    THE BURGLAR

Albert is an unlucky burglar who’s spent most of his hapless career behind bars. His love of philosophy has kept him upbeat but he finally tires of prison life and decides it’s time to strike out on his own. He breaks out of jail, hoping to start a new life with Maria, his childhood sweetheart, but discovers that she’s burdened with debt and sick of Albert’s criminal lifestyle. Maria doesn’t want anything to do with him and, even worse, is about to marry Robert, a smug, self-satisfied cop! Albert decides to pull off the most dangerous burglary of his life to save Maria from disaster and win back her love and respect. THE BURGLAR is a comedy about risking it all to follow your dreams, even if no-one but yourself believes in them.
