Andreea (37) is a documentary film director. She has a daughter, Emilia (12), from a previous relationship, whom she is raising together with her boyfriend, Tibi (43).
Andreea starts her new film project about illegally parked cars that block the sidewalks and about the authorities’ lack of reaction. She starts documenting the subject on the street where she lived as a child and where her father, Petre (70), who supports her in the project, still lives.
Andreea involves in her project a man who hides his identity behind a ski mask. According to the plan they put up together, they swap the registration plates among the illegally parked cars in order to make their owners aware of the fact that they are doing something irresponsible. Although called by the drivers, the police are unable to handle the situation. When the police arrive, Alin (40) is one of the drivers gets himself noted by his aggressive attitude. Tibi starts to worry about the possible consequences of Andreea’s actions.
Marius (13) is a kid who learns about their actions and wants to join in, blackmailing Andreea with turning her in to the police. We learn that the ski mask man is Cristi (39), one of the drivers apparently affected by the swapping of the plates. Cristi is a childhood friend of Andreea’s who lives on the same street and there seems to be more than friendship between them.
One night, Andreea, Cristi and Marius paint red footprints on the illegally parked cars. Alin shows up, driven home by a friend. Finding his car painted, he gets angry and, helped by his friend, he abuses Andreea and Marius. Cristi steps in and the conflict ends in a physical fight with a dramatic outcome.
