Neasa Hardiman

Neasa Hardiman is a Director and Writer based in Dublin, with a number of films and television dramas to her credit. She has won a slew of international prizes for her work including a BAFTA for BBC adaptation Tracy Beaker Returns, and Best Drama nominations for her two feature length films, The Naked Extremist and School Run, at the Irish Film and Television Awards. Her background in documentaries features several international plaudits. Neasa’s award-winning art film This Is Going To Take More Than One Night has just been acquired by the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and she goes into production with her new feature script Sea Fever in early 2013.Neasa is a graduate of the scholarship postgraduate programme in film at the Universität der Künste Berlin. She holds a Double First from the National College of Art & Design Ireland. She is a graduate of the North By NorthWest Film Development initiative of Media Europe and is currently completing her PhD in film theory at Trinity College Dublin.
