    CHINA SEA

Martial arts champion Osvaldas seriously injures a girl in the street and is expelled from the sports federation. Shunned by all his former colleagues, he cannot accept the idea that his career is over. Osvaldas spends his days in the premises of the “China Sea” restaurant, where Ju-Long, the owner and Osvaldas’s only true friend, gambles without restraint and secretly engages in dirty business with a local criminal gang. Feeling lonely and unneeded, Osvaldas resolves to forget the past and rediscover himself anew. He takes a job as a teenage martial arts coach and meets a charming woman, Skaistė, who turns out to be the wife of the criminal gang’s leader. However, Osvaldas continues rejecting the idea of failure and this does not stop him from pursuing her love. Obsessed with morbid thoughts and an illusory image of the future, the hero resorts to the methods he knows best - violence and abuse - only to destroy everything he touches.
