Screenplay is based on the first, and the most famous, novel by one of the most important and original writers of last century – Jerzy Kosiński. ----------------------------- A little boy is sent by his parents to live with a foster mother in a village somewhere in Eastern Europe in an attempt to save him from the mass extermination of the Jews. The foster mother unexpectedly dies, however, and the little boy is forced to make his way all alone in an unfriendly world where only local rules, prejudice and superstition prevail. His attempts to survive after the war are replaced by a different kind of struggle. A struggle with himself, a struggle for his soul, for his future...

Synopsis Dawid watches a new neighbour move to a house next door. The girl is wearing a Hawaiian hula skirt. Most probably, he also learns why Monika’s grandma has gone away to Hawaii. Most probably, he’s going to tell her that his sister is a cat now. For sure, the boy and the girl will be brought closer together by their strength in order to save their memories about the loved ones who departed this life. The mad Time Hopper will help them cross the gate in an old clock that leads to a place where time rules are completely different.

This family movie is an exciting tale of longing, love and imagination so powerful that the impossible becomes possible, changing the lives of all heroes. Young actors Leo Stubbs and Julia Odzimek are in the cast and well known actors Magdalena Cielecka, Dawid Ogrodnik and Tomasz Kot. The script is based on the book by Anna Onichimowska under the same title  and was awarded with Krzysztof Kieslowski ScripTeast Award presented at Cannes Film  Festival 2011.
